This lovely rambler in Edina got a facelift—both inside and out! It was time for new windows, so we ramped up the curb appeal with some updated shake siding, custom-built flower boxes, and soft accent lighting. Once through the front door, you are greeted by the gorgeous new kitchen with beautiful sightlines to the rest of the home. Maintaining the home’s integrity, and the owner’s budget, we created a spacious kitchen with matte countertops, resilient flooring, custom walnut pieces, and a built-in butler’s pantry.

This beautifully remodeled multi-level located on Sunset Pond was a lot of fun for our team! We started by removing a couple walls to assure its homeowners enjoy stunning views across the water from every angle. Updated finishes included warm enameled cabinets, gorgeous hickory flooring, plus quartz and walnut countertops, all creating a cozy, yet minimal, country-chic space. An updated bathroom upstairs ties in perfectly with the new style and finishes.

Previous Showcases

Here are some of our Showcases from previous years.

 Eden Prairie Fall 2019

This main-level remodel was a huge hit on the tour. Every square inch was updated to create a stunning home perfect for its family. The two-story entry creates a stunning first impression with an entirely redone staircase. Favorites were the custom wire-brushed hickory floors and new gourmet kitchen featuring dual islands, exquisite quartz countertops, and exceptional lighting package. From top to bottom, this one was a showstopper!

 Eagan Fall 2019

Projects big or small, the New Spaces team loves them all! With big remodeling dreams for their home, these homeowners chose to complete multiple projects over the course of a few years—beginning with the top priority, the kitchen, and then moving onto the family room, three bathrooms, and the laundry, too! Relatable and budget-friendly finishes were used throughout, including maple cabinetry, granite and quartz countertops, and an eye-catching linear fireplace in the cozy family room!

 Minnetonka Spring 2019

Set in a quaint and convenient neighborhood, this 1960s two-story home was ready for a change. And so were our clients! They raised three daughters here and although they remodeled 18 years ago, they knew today’s innovations would allow more function and style. We opened up the kitchen and replaced cabinetry that caused major road blocks. We salvaged existing materials and added new steel structural columns, a service bar and huge island for family entertaining. We also created a separate dining room with an updated fireplace, offering a cozy place to dine for any occasion.

Eagan Spring 2019

HGTV eat your heart out! This real-life Kitchen remodel was a favorite of the New Spaces team! This 1987-built, multi-level home was ready for a major Kitchen overhaul. We removed the wall dividing the Kitchen and dining space and created an open-concept Kitchen that is truly enviable! The new space features clean, crisp white cabinetry with some rustic flare, including a reclaimed wood hood, exposed beam, brick accents, and large-scale lighting!

St. Louis Park Fall 2018

We loved recreating this 1920’s multi-generational home in the heart of St. Louis Park. This well-maintained family home with double lot was in dire need of a bigger kitchen, mud room storage, and larger main-floor family bath to make summer entertaining at the pool more enjoyable.

Burnsville Fall 2018

Shorewood Spring 2018

We wanted to take some time to highlight the before and after photos of a recent kitchen remodel that was featured in our Shorewood showcase. Before the remodel, this kitchen was dated and wasn’t ideal for the client’s lifestyle. At its core, this property was a typical late 80’s / early 90’s kitchen design that made it difficult to entertain. The room felt dark and lacked the open layout that’s preferred by today’s homeowners
