New Spaces Design-Build
July 7, 2023

Meet New Spaces Design Assistant, Sofia Preciado. Besides wearing many hats around the office, Sofia is known for her positive attitude by the New Spaces community.

Sofia’s hobbies include reading fantasy and fictional works, creating art pieces, and cuddling with her dog. She also enjoys tending to her "growing" collection of plants.

Favorite Ice cream: Prefers strawberry gelato (gelato al fregola) but would never turn down a cup of vanilla.

Professional Profile: Sofia grew up helping her family fix up older homes as a part of her family’s business and enjoys the process of making old spaces new again. She graduated from Augustana University with majors in Art and Spanish, but ultimately decided she wanted to pursue a career in the home industry. She received her Kitchen and Bath Design certificate through the KBD program at Century College. "I feel blessed to be a part of the New Spaces team and have the opportunity to help people bring their dream homes to life!"
