With all four kids out of the house, this couple was ready for a change. In the beginning they wanted a more traditional kitchen with cherry cabinetry, but inspiration struck and they went for a more transitional look. The new kitchen features custom cabinets with a dark stain and simple but elegant door style. A clean tile backsplash was installed with a feature piece behind the range. New Cambria countertops with a waterfall edge finish off the space on a crisp and cool note. Hardwood floors were continued into the living room and the fireplace was completely re-worked. At the desk area, new cabinets were installed with a grand barn wood wall to define the space and make it a cozy place to work
