New Spaces has been on tour this past Winter, attending several Chamber expos and speaking at some of Minnesota’s largest home shows.
Here are three trending kitchen design ideas we shared at the shows.
Use Reclaimed Barn Wood to add a Rustic Touch:
Using reclaimed barn wood has been a trend for a number of years now – sliding barn doors, reclaimed timber mantles, even reclaimed wood wall paneling are elements that add a rustic touch to your kitchen.
Add a Bold Wallpaper to Your Bathroom Remodel:
A powder room is a great place to incorporate a bold wallpaper—it’s fun to walk into a small room like a bathroom that is not afraid to express its personality! Better yet, choose fresh, spring-like colors or patters to keep the May flowers blooming year-round.
IncorporateBright Paint Colors:
New Spaces Lead Designer Mary Ellen Rantanen shared there are 2 trendy paint colors that she loves to use.
“The pale yellow of a lemon meringue pie, paired with a little bit of black—picture a delicately pale yellow daffodil bouquet tied up with a black satin ribbon. The other is a spring green, the color of new growthon a boxwood. Colors of hope and renewal,” she said.
