Obstacles and Opportunities

Before remodelling, this Burnsville bathroom was stuck in the 1970s. There was no shower, and an oversized soaker tub dominated the space; it was time for a drastic makeover. Without changing the overall size of the room, New Spaces created an elegant white bathroom inspired by 1930s and 40s Hollywood Glamour.

A deco-lux bathroom makeover

Before remodeling, this Burnsville bathroom was stuck in the 1970s. There was no shower, and an oversized soaker tub dominated the space; it was time for a drastic retrofitting. Without changing the overall size of the room, New Spaces created an elegant white bathroom inspired by 1930s and 40s Hollywood Glamour.

Before and After: Burnsville bathroom stuck in the 70s upgraded to elegant marble

The new design replaces dated candelabras with elegant wall sconces. Twin vanities provide plenty of personal space, and the oversized medicine cabinet has room for cosmetics and toiletries.

Gleaming Cambria countertops complement the Cararra marble tile floor and shining chrome faucets. Semi-custom cabinetry with a white enamel finish integrates a dedicated makeup table into the counter.

Master bathroom is lights, camera, action

This design showcases luxurious materials including Cararra marble, Cambria countertops, and gleaming Art Deco style faucets. By incorporating a palette of smooth whites, this project unifies the space through color and texture. A sparkling chandelier hangs over the doorway while matching wall sconces illuminate twin vanities.

Large marble tiles climb the wall to create a sense that the space is larger than it is

Blinds gently soften and diffuse natural light. The linen closet nearthe entry makes smart use of vertical space for storage.

By downsizing the tub and moving it to the corner, New Spaces made room for a walk-in glass shower without compromising a sense of spaciousness in the bathroom. In its new location, the shallow tub has a classic look. Because it is low to the ground it is easy to step in and out of the tub. The hand-held faucet provides a spa-like experience at home.
