Who lives here

The king and queen of the valley!

Obstacles and Opportunities

The bathroom in this Apple Valley, MN home was spacious but dated. New Spaces created a fresh and elegant space without disturbing the exterior walls. By keeping the sinks, tub, shower and toilet in the same positions, we minimized costs for plumbing.

Bathroom Renovation: Elegant Escape

The bathroom in this Apple Valley, MN home was spacious but dated. New Spaces created a fresh and elegant space fit for kings and queens, without disturbing the exterior walls. By keeping the sinks, tub, shower and toilet in the same positions, we minimized costs for plumbing.

The original white tile, windows, trim and cabinetry remain, but the room feels completely different. The project is an excellent example of how our designers find creative and practical solutions to remodeling challenges.

Before and after

The vanity has an entirely new look with a soft pink granite countertop, undermount sinks, and glistening gold mirrors and sconces. Look carefully! Do you recognize the gold faucets?

A new soaking tub gets a completely new look with pink tile that looks like marble. There’s room for bath time luxuries on the tub deck. The tile around the tub is new, but the white floor tiles were not replaced.

The shower remains in the center of the room. The shower door was completely removed, and the glass block was replaced with rain glass for a more open, contemporary look. Wrapped in marble, the shower is the “star” of this bathroom. Sunlight from the large windows by the tub, flows through the shower, making this bathroom feel bright and spa-like. New floor tiles around vanity create interest and define the space.
