Our Guarantee

A Design That Fits your Budget, No Surprises

When you work with New Spaces, our approach will be very clear. We’re not here to see how many remodeling projects we can sell. Our focus is on a job well done. We’ve earned a sterling reputation over more than 30 years and we are committed to keeping it with every remodeling project we do. Our no-surprises guarantee starts at the very beginning of a project:

If we cannot provide a remodeling plan within the estimated budget range agreed to at the Design Consultation meeting, we will refund 100% of the Design Agreement Fee.

It’s really very simple: if we can’t do the designed project and keep it within the established budget, we will let you know BEFORE we ever begin.

Our Construction Guarantee Goes Above and Beyond

We’ve all heard horror stories about renovation projects that have gone wrong and contractors that don’t take care of problems once the job is done. You’ll never hear that about New Spaces. We’re here and we stand behind our work – just like we’ve done for more than 30 years. As a matter of fact, we do more than we’re required to do.

We’d encourage you to take a moment to look below and compare our warranty to the Minnesota Statutory Warranty – the minimal warranty that the state of MN requires remodeling companies to uphold.

We think you’ll find that at New Spaces, we don’t settle for the minimum requirement.

What is Required? Here’s the Minnesota Statutory Warranty

(1) during the one year period from the warranty date, the home improvement shall be free from defects caused by faulty workmanship or defective materials due to non-compliance with building standards; (2) if the home improvement work involves major structural changes or additions to a residential building, the home improvement is warranted, for a period of ten years from and after the warranty date, to be free from major construction defects due to non-compliance with building standards; and (3) if the home improvement work involves installation of plumbing, electrical, heating or cooling systems, the home improvement is warranted, for a period of two years from the warranty date, to be free from defects caused by faulty installation of the plumbing, electrical, heating or cooling systems due to non-compliance with building standards. A claim under these warranties must be reported to the Builder, in writing, within six months after Owner discovered or reasonably should have discovered the defect. See Chapter 327A of Minnesota Statutes for a complete description of these warranties. The Owner and Builder agree that the coverages, exclusions and remedies in Chapter 327A shall be the exclusive remedies for claims relating to the Work.

Our Warranty: Three Years, Not Just One
